Pros

Coworkers are great, we all suffer together.

Cons

Work loads are completely unequal. Management make unrealistic goals based on the number of people in the department. There is zero recognition for a job well done. There are approximately 6 systems that do not interact with each other. At least 4 employees in my department were promised promotions and did not get them.

Great people. Okay salary. Work from home access.

Cons

Too many goals and expectations that are not achievable. Health benefits stink. Minimal bonus and profit sharing compared to other companies. Old uncomfortable chairs. They don’t have a filtered water fountain in the break room they expect you to drink toxic tap water. The systems are from the 70’s or 80’s and makes it so difficult to be efficient. No calibration amongst management, the rules change constantly depending on who gives you instructions. Too many meetings taking up a lot of time for no reason. They display your results on a huge whiteboard for everyone to see which is belittling. Understaffed, every employee is overworked and expected to work a new claim the same day even if you get 5 while completing a laundry list of things to do on every new claim. You will have to take recorded statements from every single person. Time consuming and useless. Micromanagement at it’s finest.

You want to handle commercial claims You need a job

Cons

Antiquated system, unrealistic work load, employees not empowered to do their jobs, too many layers of management and everyone has to sign off on even the simplest matter. Too rigid, an hour for lunch consisted of a set start time. if you were on the phone with a customer when your time started, too bad it cut into the you were allowed.
