flexibility, easy money friendly staff, interesting opportunity. little prep for class their youtube videos are good. can teach kids in all age groups.

Cons

Contract stipulation is not fair to teachers and not clear how it is applied during the "hiring" process. If they think paying practicum teachers are too expensive to provide individualized training before practicum, they should not even put them through 6 months contract. Too little pay for such a demanding job. You work with kids from level 0 to level 5. So it can be a daunting task to prepare for classes.

Work from home. That’s it really.

Cons

Unstable company with cult-like mentality which can fire you at any moment and not communicate why. Lots of “issues” getting you paid. Many teachers have witnessed parents abusing kids and VIPKID pretty much did nothing. Articles online about this. If you care about children and love teaching, stay away from this company.
