      Pros

      Changing environment fast paced as far as change ,but at times change is made for the sake of change with no future thought of how or what it might impact hardware, software, clients or employees.

      Cons

      Upper management has no respect for employees. Employees are not listened to even when making suggestions for improvement. Be silent and go with the flow to keep a job. If you do speak up you may be told to shut up or labeled a troublemaker.

      Free parking, and the buildings are nice.

      Over time, VSP went from one of the best places to work in the region to a toxic, dysfunctional mess. Instead of working, employees at all levels (including management) are engaged in backstabbing, infighting, and scapegoating and it is because the company underwent a growth spurt through acquisitions that landed them with several business units that consistently underperform . At the same time, the company changed CEOs not once...not twice...but three times. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is looking for someone to blame so they don't get re-org'd or eliminated. Many are older workers from the good old days so they would have trouble replacing their salaries in the open market, so they too have to play the finger-pointing game to maintain their lifestyles. Morale is therefore awful and bullying is rampant.
