More Work for Less Money

Pros

Very supportive of development- tons of internal training opportunities

Cons

Working remote has diminished the culture and ability to have appropriate work life balance. With a distributed workforce, you're expected to be online or available from 8a EST to 6p PST. Additionally, the compensation package is lackluster in comparison to other orgs in the area/industry and each year it seems to be smaller and smaller- while we are more profitable than ever, we get 'brace for impact' messaging that reinforces the fact that our comp will continue to diminish.
