Where do I begin? Management has not idea what they are doing. The company sent out a survey to all departments and results were lower than low, everything from morale to trust, and management said "Let's have a potluck". What did they expect? They micromanage and question every move their employees make, including people who have worked there for years. There is absolutely no support from management, none. Growth opportunity? Negative. All they are interested in is having smiling bobble-heads and promotions are handed out in a random, draw the lucky stick fashion. If I have to hear the statement "I'm going to coach you" or "You need to coach them" one more time I might crack. The work environment is so hostile it's miserable, people throwing people under the bus with every chance they get. crapRad is going nowhere fast and I think their turnover rate speaks for itself.

HR does not seem to go to bat for the employees but I think that is typical in almost all companies. There are still employees who fight change

Management in Physician Services has NO idea what they are doing. I constantly felt like I was being micro-managed - I never felt like I could take breaks and felt like I was constantly being monitored. They had unrealistic expectations in all 4 departments of physician services, they pushed us to the MAX and we all felt stressed out always. They treated us like we were robots who didn't need to sleep or take a break or speak to others. I had said in my interview that I wanted to be treated like a human being - that is not what happened. Management and HR make promises that they don't keep. - They say that to get you in the door and then don't follow through on them. For example - DO NOT expect to get be able to work from home unless you are the child of an executive or you are friends with one of the managers. Also, it is very unlikely that you will be able to choose your own schedule. Remember this before you accept a job. I joined this company because of the work from home benefit and never got a chance to work from how even after being there for 2 years.

Poor benefits - No 401k match, High Deductible HSA, PTO accrued monthly which won't be paid out if you leave, and you can only carry over minimal amounts. They have had lay-offs nearly every year for the past 4 years. This is a result of consistantly poor management & forecasting. Additionally, after most layoffs, there are a slew of promotions - at the director level and above. The people who weren't laid off are really the unlucky ones - they have double the amount of an unrealistic workload to handle. There are continual billing & collection issues, yet they refuse to bring in experienced leadership to stop the bleeding. They had an experienced leader in that position for awhile, but she quit. If you want to work for a company that values tenure and your contributions, this is not the place. vRad routinely replaces people who have been there a long time with people who will do the job for less. Hence, quality is continually decreasing. After the last round of layoffs, they contacted people whom they had laid off and asked them if they'd come back and do the same role in a temp position. No raises / bonuses for past 2 years. While most companies right now are challenged with doing more with less, vRad's expectations are simply unrealistic. Their tools are ancient and inefficient, they will not invest in new tools. vRad was bought by Equity partners, whom have all but totally eroded the focus this company once had on patient care. The CEO lives in NY and travels to MN weekly to be onsite - he wouldn't even move here.

Management sucks ass. They have the wrong people in management in just about every dept of the company. They all promote based on friendship and ass kissers. Would not recommend my worst enemy to work there.

Micromanagement is terrible. Ever changing upper management that are too detached from the company.

Definitely management is bad including directors. Owners know nothing about healthcare. Just see dollar signs and lack in patient care. Once an awesome company. Now not.
