      Pros

      Amazing benefits, really fair salary and you are treated like family. Everyone is accessible in the organization and we are all working towards a common cause: serving our members. I loved my 4 1/2 years there, I look forward to returning one day :)

      Cons

      Lack of opportunities to advance due to seasoned employees - nobody wants to leave or retire! That's not a bad thing, unless you want to grow into a higher role.

      Benefits are competitive and excellent 401k contribution (if you can make it a year)

      Cons

      Hiring practices are questionable and possibly discriminatory. Experience is NOT what this company is looking for. They will not reward it or recognize your efforts unless you fit the “mold”. Extremely strict metrics for success. Management can micromanage. The ability to promote within is almost zero. With 10 years of professional experience I was turned down for EVERY position I applied for (most of which I was “over qualified”). Some jobs I had direct experience in for over 5 years. Your actions negatively impacted my experience working there and caused me to never come back to banking as a career. Extremely low pay for experienced individuals and the area.

      One of the best financial institutions to work for in WA

      Cons

      You will never want to leave! I only left to be a full time mom to my children.
