I have been working for Waterton for 2 years now, and it has been the best company so far. I like The Waterton Way, with resitality, thinking about the best we can do for our residents.

Cons

The HR team does not take complaints seriously. I have seen harassment (non-sexual) and reported it many times. I know multiple people have, and it goes on. I have seen this issue at many properties. Waterton would rather not fire people, which lets some employees get too comfortable and do whatever they want. If you get a good team, its great! If not, you are on your own. Best to move.

Pros

Waterton promotes "individuality" within its company. Meaning you can come as you are and I really love being able to be myself. They promote having fun within the workplace and have a great work-life balance. I enjoy working under my Regional Cathy Lucas, who is one of the nicest people you will meet. She takes time to understand all sides and aspects of each property and the challenges that may arise.

Cons

Depending on what property and manager you work with, of course, it has its challenges, as any job will have. My advice is to stick to SOP with everything you do, keep your head down, and do your job to the best of your abilities. Most important, have fun.
