Frankly very surprised West does so well with what they do as they skirt the regulatory requirements with about everything. I cant believe I stayed as long as I did, perhaps I kept thinking I could make a difference.

Trending negative in a big way and see no evidence of a management changing! Where to start; the place is barely staffed in some departments, The positions filled by the directors are mostly new and hance have no idea of the product lines, use or manufacturing techniques, they spend all their time completing status reports for management reviews. The Quality teams globally are so overwhelmed with daily issues that no ones can effectively address the root causes. The material supplier base is a joke; it's all about lowest cost vs actually quality. Any system improvement projects are quick fixes, no long-term strategy is every considered. Alot of manual busy work is performed just to maintain an awareness of business performances, your SAP isnt helping! West is way behind in pay, benefits and any career development plans; chances are if you're hired now, expect to be in that role for years and years. I see luck running out and a consent decree in the works.

Extremely rude senior leaders being brought onboard. Hopefully you don't have a position in this company where you have to present in front of any of these new leaders or they will "mock" and "degrade" for no other reason than to prove their "authority" over you. Always chatter in office on the unbelievable things said to others in meetings...particularly men towards women.

Disrespectful, unprofessional or harassing behavior is not acceptable nor tolerated. We strongly encourage any team member who feels this is not the way we are operating to immediately reach out to any member of leadership, Human Resources or the Compliance and Ethics Office to share their concerns. All team members also have access to the Integrity Helpline where they can report their concerns anonymously if they choose. We take the on-boarding of new team members extremely seriously and are committed to providing equal opportunities and selecting the best candidate for a role, from internal and external applicants. We have an average of 300 internal moves/promotions annually since 2018. We feel this is a good balance with those hired from outside the company, as new talent joining West also brings new perspectives and experiences to West.
