Fair starting pay, supportive direct managers, opportunities to grow if you lay politics well

Cons

Yotpo utilizes quiet layoffs as a strategy. I was a member of the Austin team that was entirely eliminated almost exactly one year after we were told our jobs were secure. The CS org made the strategic decision to prioritize other geos. Since then, Yotpo leadership has acted in poor character: leaving the entire team without health insurance for a week over an administrative error, holding performance metrics, etc. If you work at Yotpo understand that you have ZERO job security.

-Kind coworkers - nice office.

Cons

- Leaders are extremely inexperienced. It appears that they hire young leaders who are hungry for the title but lack true knowledge of the industry. - Extremely weary of criticism. Their young leaders seem to be promoted internally so do not have alot of work experience and seem more concerned with protecting their own ego than improving the company. - the product is really not good and they are more for pushing the vision of the Yotpo than improving product. You know when people say dont date someone for their potential, date them for who they are now... well I would say that about Yotpo. Their vision is inspirational but they are up against tough players (PS and Attentive, Klaviyo and dont stand a chance.
