Great people- tough to stay

Pros

- Genuinely great product (and if not, exceptionally driven to improve/quickly scale for market) - The most passionate people I've worked with- great culture that makes it hard to want to leave - Great title mobility: ability to jump from junior > senior in just a few years

Cons

- No work life balance- every day starting 8 am and ending after 6/7 on top of commute to and from office; some team members working til 10 pm/11 pm in other Geos - Limited pay mobility- promotions without pay increases, no bonus structure or inflationary increases- staying for a while actually feels like your pay is decreasing over time with inflation and responsibility increases - Burnout- great performers don't get financial recognition even if they work hard, why work hard any more?

Pros

New office, frequent incentives, lots of people around to help when asked, snacks, nice HR team with a quick, transparent interview process

Cons

Onboarding seemed like an afterthought and was weighed down by irrelevant and outdated information. The senior sales team is firmly solidified, as another review wrote, and didn't inspire confidence by joking about how they were going to be the next ones to be fired even though they were definitely the least likely to be, on that note frequent firings occurred with no explanation, changing product features were making it even harder to close deals, and poor access to managers due to the continuous activity that admittedly does come with any start-up, but was compounded by little support when they were around. My team felt like a high school clique and on top of all of this, rampant gossip and complaints of not hitting quota kept me on my toes and never allowed me to feel comfortable.

Pros

My team and my manager are the only pros.

Cons

Over 90 accounts is the average. I had 120 at one point. No work life balance. Upper management says they are actively hiring but only hire when other CSMs leave. We’ve had 3+ CSMs leave in the last month due to work load and not enough pay. Other companies will pay more. Hiring managers are paying new hires more than tenured CSMs. Restructured pay for CSMs and said it was in the best interest of us but now I will be making $10-$15k less than what I am predicted to make this year. We will no longer be able to make commission on upsells and cross-sells next year and only work for a bonus pay that you can try to earn at the end of every quarter. Moving to a multi product vision where we will need to learn a new product but they won’t pay use what we deserve and just say it is in our best interest to learn another product for future growth. Can’t trust upper management.
