Pros

Really hard-working and talented CSM's.

Cons

Having recently departed from Yotpo, I write this with a genuine desire to share an honest, firsthand perspective on what you might experience should you join Yotpo. Like yourself, I joined the company with a desire to work with an impressive product and be part of a company built on authenticity, transparency, and inclusivity. One of the most disheartening aspects of Yotpo is its lack of diversity, both in terms of representation and thought. There’s a clear preference for employees of Jewish descent, and if you do not fit into this mold, your tenure at the company feels precariously short. This creates an atmosphere of exclusivity, which is a fundamental flaw for a company that claims to be global and forward-thinking. There is a undeniable and troubling pattern of not only retaining but actively promoting individuals in leadership roles who have received complaints about their unapproachable demeanor, lack of empathy, and absent leadership. Instead of addressing these concerns or holding these individuals accountable, the company seems to reward their behavior with inflated titles that are deeply misaligned with their responsibilities. Yotpo’s internal processes—especially in support, billing, product, and R&D—are fundamentally broken. The lack of coordination between teams results in constant confusion, delays, and inefficiencies. These issues directly impact clients and make it impossible for employees, particularly in Customer Success, to deliver value or drive meaningful change. No matter how hard you work or how much you care, the system sets you up to fail. The company’s culture embodies overworking its employees, especially in the CS. The constant demand to do more with less leaves the team overextended and burnt out. There’s no real focus on employee well-being, and the high turnover rates reflect this. It feels like you are on a treadmill of endless expectations with little reward or acknowledgment. Yotpo loves to call themselves a “customer first organization”, meanwhile, they consistently ignore both employee and customer feedback. Instead of facing the music – which is a mediocre product and a veteran leadership team that is inept, absent, and arrogant – Yotpo leader notoriously augments all of its challenges with their CSM’s.

Pros

Caring colleagues who are very willing to help. Company is growing quickly!

Cons

The customer success organization is completely overworked (12 hour days is pretty typical). Management will say that we should t be working long hours and yet they don’t do much to alleviate the workload. If you bring to their attention any sort of inefficiencies in how we work you are labeled a “complainer” and will simply not be up for promotions regardless of your performance. You need to be giddy about Yotpo 24/7 in order to climb the ladder. There is also a clear lack of diversity which leads to a very homogenous mindset within the company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We hear you, and feedback like this helps us pinpoint what we need to do better. We’re hiring a ton right now to alleviate stress and exhaustion for our teams. We’re diversifying where we find our candidates and working to eliminate bias in the hiring process and our internal development / mobility. Thank you again for sharing this feedback with us.

Pros

- Coworkers - Unfortunately, not many pros.

Cons

- Workload is unbearable. 12 hr days are typical and the clients are some of the most condescending people I've worked with - Management is not trustworthy. Multiple colleagues brought up management pushing CSMs out. The company is a revolving door and hiring CSMs to fill back roles, not to build the company. - Israeli cutthroat culture. There is no room for error, cannot bring your full self to work - Lack of training on the product - This is a content collecting company, do not believe the positive reviews on Glassdoor. The company is extremely conscious of its online presence. The positive reviews are all fake

This review was difficult for us to read; we are so sorry you had this experience. We take this feedback very seriously. In addition to other work internally, we’ll be rolling out regular Engagement Surveys to collect feedback more often and turn into real change. We want to ensure Yotpo is a diverse, inclusive place where people can feel a strong sense of belonging and fulfillment, not exhaustion.
