Optimistic for the road ahead

Pros

We were acquired by Zift Solutions and after getting over the initial shock (!), I am optimistic about where we will go from here. I have had the chance to interact with all of the Zift executives and so far I like what I see. They are thoughtful about their decisions and ultimately just want to do the right thing and have a strong business. They seek feedback from employees and apply that feedback to their final decision. I haven't had a chance to meet all of the employees yet, but the ones I've met so far have welcomed me with open arms.

I have not run into any cons yet.

Pros

The company is going through a significant growth phase. It is opening new opportunities for career growth on a daily basis.

Cons

Down side to rapid growth is often little time to take a breath. Looking for a fast paced dynamic environment, Zift is for you. Looking for a structured, compartmentalized environment Zift will not be your cup of tea.

Pros

ZIft is a small company that looks to be growing rapidly. With this growth, opportunities for career development should become available. The Zift User Interface allows both large companies and small "mom and pop" shops to access marketing materials to augment and execute marketing plans. The beauty of the service is that anyone should be able to understand and use the platform regardless of if your a seasoned marketing professional or one man show with little to no experience using similar services. Even with the rapid growth, Zift continues to maintain a "family" atmosphere with all employees pulling in the same direction. Flexibility is a positive here as well.

Cons

With Growth comes growing pains. Zift has clients around the globe so you're always on. If you're a phone email checker you will never be disappointed due to the high number of messages you will receive at all hours of the day. If you're looking for a 9-5 job then look elsewhere. It is not uncommon to be expected to jump on calls at all hours of the night.
