Long hours, no family time

Pros

New technology, sometimes it can be fun if you get time, but unlikely.

Cons

Crazy hours, accesso only wants employees who put them first and family last. Very short deadlines and impossible timelines. No proper design mythologies or patterns. Expect to come in at 6 am, leave at 8 pm with little salary.

Among the many changes that have taken place at accesso the last few years, the establishment of our core company hours has probably been the most beneficial in allowing our team members the flexibility they need to better balance their work lives with their personal lives. As our company continues to expand so do the needs of our clients, however with best practices in place our teams are able to fulfill tasks in an expeditious manner. We remain fluid as an organization and are constantly reviewing how we can continue to recognize and reward our hard working team members, so thank you for your input!

Pros

In-park co-workers, use of device while off duty.

Cons

I do not recommend working for Accesso. Corporate level employees are extremely difficult and oftentimes impossible to work with, they provide little support for in park management. New ideas are quickly shot down, for no reason other than it not being their own idea. Corporate managers are rude, condescending and clearly do not care about the wellbeing of their subordinates. Reporting any issues or concerns to upper management consistently proves to be a waste of time. Upper management will be there to listen, make empty promises and then completely fail to do anything to remedy the issues. Problems will keep coming up because they fail to take any sort of action, and then the in park management teams take the fall.

Pros

competitive perks, pto, fun fridays, etc.. bright ideas and some forward progression from challenges beer, pro-equal rights, great people, food randomness and cookoffs. great for single/people not in a relationship. great place to start your career and build amazing experience with some very talented people.

Cons

median to competitive salary, you can find equal or better pay with less headache. 6am load days? who does this anymore? they move so fast paced that they fall on themselves more often than not, though development practices and a knowledgeable team helped carve that into something solid. management is hard if not impossible to budge once they have a direction. don't kid yourself, this is a for-profit business and money motivates direction. constant feeling of necessity to do more and passively pressured to work. typical late nights working in office, don't be surprised to feel the need to work on Saturday. work from home, LOL non developer managers are managing development teams. (red flag) terrible for people with a family. (ignore the family first thing, its accesso first )

accesso has gone through tremendous growth the last few years and as we grow, we continually review our past and present processes and make necessary changes to support our growing team... so thank you for your honest feedback! Since the implementation of our annual company survey, we have created more positions that has helped with team bandwidth as well as allow our current employees the opportunity for more work-life balance, which we absolutely fully promote and support! We have also made many adjustments to our policies, such as more formal performance reviews so that we can continue to recognize and reward our top performers. Our team members are the core of our company and their happiness and sense of fulfillment in their roles are key as we strive to meet our clients' expectations.
