A place of growth

Pros

I started working at iNET 4 years ago, being hired as a janitor. Over the years iNET taught me the skills that allowed me to grow well beyond a janitor and into the role of a Technician. Not only that but their flexibility in scheduling allowed me to go to school full time while also letting have as many hours as I could work. Alongside iNET's flexibility, I would say one of the greatest positives is the people. The amount of time and effort my peers have put into investing in my skills and abilities is beyond anything I could have ever imagined when I started working 4 years ago.

Cons

Growing pains. As I said, iNET fosters a great deal of growth within its doors and while this is a very good thing, it also means there are some growing pains along the way. I watched iNET grow from around 50 people to over a 100 and while exciting, it also mean't things can get a little cramped and crazy around here.

Not a good work environment

Pros

Do you miss those High School days and those cliques? Well do I have the perfect place for you! The sales department are at the top. They can walk around and talk about whatever for hours (working out and video games), but if any other department strays away for 3 minutes they get an email telling them to stop it. But wait! There's more! You get to sit at your desk for all 8 hours, even leaving to go get lunch every day is frowned upon. On top of that, the overall environment created there is not good. It's an uncomfortable work place, and you can only pretty much talk to other people via email. Fellow employees are great, and those are the only people keeping it running, honestly. What is that?! I have more! Even though there is a separate office, you will get yelled at/called out, in front of everyone. Making it uncomfortable for everyone and halting work. (Who can work when the poor guy next to you is getting swore at for a solid 5 minutes). If you get an interview for this place, take it. Maybe it has changed since I wrote this. But go see for yourself. Chances are you'll see my review is spot on.

Cons

Oh man, I don't think I could think of anything bad to say about this Nirvana.

Pros

Umm... They have to legally pay you and most of the co workers are genuinely good people. Other than that. Drawing a blank...

Cons

Its a great place to work if you... 1.Like getting Screamed at Before anything has the possibility of going wrong. 2.Being called out in meetings to be made a fool in front of your co workers without justification. 3.The office is Full of BS Politics. (If you're not ready to kiss the bosses feet then you get pushed out the door.) 4. The Managements Theory on dead weight in the office is to not Fire anyone. They just torment you with harassment and verbal abuse until you quit. So they DON'T have to pay unemployment. 5.There is definitely an Elitist structure here. 6. The employee turnover rate is the fastest I've ever seen. In one of the years I counted there I saw at least an average of 2 per month. 7.No Direct Deposit because the "company is too Cheap" 8. The Tech department is a total Fire hazard. They work on Customers computers on temporary Saw horse tables with raw unfinished wood and Eat there Lunches over the Computers. Its a horror show. 9. No Break Room. Just a hallway with a nook and that's it. 10.No Heating in the Men's bathroom. In winter this is a Big issue. 11. Oh and last time I was there they canceled our simple Roth IRA. So bye bye retirement. (When they cut it the CEO of the company sent a letter with a paragraph explaining how this is the opportunity to invest in real estate and how that's the way to build a future. I think the people in 2009 who lost their house to the market crash will beg to differ). 12. A Grey environment. Limited natural lighting. Inconsistent Climate control. 13.Cheap Second hand office furniture. 14. People are not getting payed based on the amount of experience they have. Yet a percentage of Sales people are clearing 6 figures. If you get hired here. My advice is to Keep your job options open. There are a few people who are long timers but the look on there faces should indicate how this place treats their employees. Dealing with management is a different account. My advice is Just Stay away.
