Pros

My perspective is likely different than most because I see the "small business" atmosphere as a major pro in contrast to working for corporate America. I worked for iNET from 2008-2011. I left in 2011 to pursue my education and came back in August of 2014 after working for a major "corporatey" communication company. The benefits working for iNET vs a major corporate company are many, for instance; There is actual accountability. iNET is accountable to our clients by letting their employees hold themselves accountable. This is a major disconnect from corporate America, there was absolutely no accountability to the consumer at my former employer and it was sickening. Management ACTUALLY cares about their iNET employees and will even help bail them out of a snow bank if it's needed (really!). I tried to call in at my former employer when I literally couldn't get my car out of my steep drive way in the middle of winter and received a written warning for being late after a friend drove me to work. That would never happen at iNET - the owner will come and get you! The atmosphere is real, there's no BS or fake smiles. My former employer executive director would walk around the building once every six months to make an appearance waving and nodding like he's in a 4th of July parade. It was so fake it was almost sick. iNET's owners door is always open. He pushes people to be the best version of themselves they may not be aware that even exists and he pushes people to their limit. Sometimes it's not comfortable but neither is training for a marathon if you've never done it, someone has to push you, right?? I get along with my co-workers. We share real stories and help each other to make the most money for our clients, it's exciting to be able to work in an environment where the client's best interest really is at heart. My former employer pushed its employees to swindle people into scammy contracts when they were unable to provide the basic service they were selling. I never have to feel slimy for doing my job at iNET. I get to build real relationships with great people and business owners throughout the community. The opportunity to be working for a company this lean and hardworking is limitless. If you work hard and smart you will go far and make a lot of money. You can be truly prideful in what you do for this company and all the companies you help to grow.

Cons

Well, I like being pushed. I like pressure. I like people with a hard work ethic. If you don't like the things I like you may perceive them as cons. It's all just how you perceive the world. You get what you put in like anything else. Put in more and you'll get more. Be willing to be uncomfortable. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it's a small price to pay for a much greater reward both intrinsically and monetarily.

Pros

I started in 2008 shortly after my deployment in Iraq. When I got home I was stunned at how much the economy has changed. My previous employer shrunk substantially and put me in a pretty tough situation. While looking for another job Steve gave me a shot when other potential employers wouldn’t. I took the opportunity and hit the ground running and am very successful because of it. I got called up on another deployment in 2010 and came back in 11. Steve, Kurt, Jim, Josh and the whole iNET crew went above and beyond for me when I got back. On top of throwing a party and a surprise bonus check. Everyone dedicated there time to make sure my transition back to work was smooth. I have seen this company grow from 20 to 80 people 2 of them are fellow Vets I served with. I made great friends here at iNET they are like my brothers. This job is very challenging you will be pushed beyond what you think your capabilities are. In the end when you see what you produced the reward is well worth the effort. The negative reviews you see here are from employees that don’t see the big picture. iNET has high expectations of our employees because iNET is committed to delivering the absolute best for our clients. Our customers are INVESTING in iNET to make them money we take that responsibility very seriously. If you are driven and deliver results, you will be highly praised and your pay will reflect the work put in. If you want to skate your way through work and life iNET is not the place for you.

Cons

Because of the amount of growth iNET is experiencing production can be a little slow at times. Conference room for phone meetings would be awesome.

Pros

They use legal (legit) software, though you have to prove the need for any non standard software over and over again while waiting for it to be order if it ever is. Same goes for hardware. Lots of really good artist all being held down to the same poor standards.

Cons

MANAGEMENT! MANAGEMENT! MANAGEMENT! And poor working conditions i.e. cramped quarters, poor temperature control and moderation, extreme difficulty to get needed software and/or hardware to make job performance increase Terrible job planning, structure, and oversight. Expect to be given little to no lead time for a job, far less time for completion than is needed, and take all the blame for it's failure to meet budget. In general expect to be yelled (read SCREAMED) at in front of the rest of the staff at any given moment for any given reason or lack there of. Expect to be subjected to constant stereotyping, racial, gender, political, etc.
