Pros

Awesome employees and team that sadly were all let go.

Cons

Peter Reynolds is unhinged. He would change his mind about the company every day. Force 1 hour long rambling company wide press conferences as if he were Biden.

Pros

Rex is an early age startup. Opportunity for growth is great, and if you are performing, I've seen you tend to get promoted relatively quickly. You learn a lot here and it's really sink or swim. If you're a hard worker and true hustler (most people here are) you'll do well here, and your hard work will be noticed. I really enjoy working here, and I can definitely see myself here for a while.

Cons

I think Pete (the CEO) is a super cool guy and a great leader, overall. But I think the videos he makes can sometimes really not place the company in the best light. In my opinion, the videos are just a bit on the extreme side and can be almost childlike at times with the content in some of them. I think he wants them to come off as comical and relatable, but a lot of them don't. He speaks about religion wayyyy too often (and this is coming from someone who is also a Christian). Super controversial topics don't really belong on LinkedIn, but he continues to spit out these videos like crazy. I don't think it's the best look for investors and may even be a turnoff to some. Another thing I think leadership can do better at is how they let people go. You never want to burn bridges with people. I've seen that happen a few times here. I know there are two sides to every story, but leadership has got to be better with just letting people go with absolutely no warning or real cause.

Terrible management

Pros

Having worked closely with the top executives, it's very clear they have no tech experience, but insist on micromanaging. Constant "iterations" are a result of tight-fisted control and inexperience and pure panic.

Cons

They managed to attract amazing talent, but with ROUNDS of layoffs every 4-6 months, they either get rid of their best people or frustrate them into walking away themselves.
