Pros

Company footprint. Can do attitude by Senior Execs.

Cons

Commission Plan is confusing and the company takes advantage of that to pay the Sales Reps less and less year over year.

Pros

Easy going culture, definitely not a corporate vibe

Cons

Zero guidance and pay is basically what they feel like paying you.....? I honestly think any of the positive reviews on here are by management trying to make it look like an ok place to work. You’ll basically need to hope and pray the tops reps either quit, get fired, or retire if you plan on making any money....

Pros

Freedom. They like to own lots of small brands. Company provided truck

Cons

Fleet, pay, zero leadership. Benefits. Tons of turnaround. If your in it for a year, your a company veteran. They only take care of a select few. If your not a Denver or Texas or California market, they do not care about you. They make it very difficult for you to do your job. From selling equipment to trying to rent what you don’t have in your fleet. It looks good on the outside but that’s it. Snorkel is a joke outside of Ahern. Every other rental fleet is happy they don’t have it. Xtreme’s are nice if you get some, and they aren’t 2008 models that don’t run. All new xtremes are sold and they pass a handful to the rental fleet. They don’t use a CRM so good luck finding jobs, other companies know months ahead of time when jobs are starting. They are stuck way back in time.

Pros

Consistent work. Overtime potential in the busy months if they like you.

Cons

No extra pay for working high priority accounts. Couture of bullying people out of they don’t like you. Low pay. No one gets to move outside of inside sales.

Terrible Company

Pros

There's a lot of variety in the content creation and a couple of great people on the marketing team.

Cons

Terrible pay, terrible treatment of employees from Ahern. There is no starting PTO, after a year you get one week. You will work lots of overtime and see no compensation. There's a lot of creepy older guys that hit on young ladies, and NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM. There are no consequences to these people's actions. If you're close with Don Ahern then you're free to do as you please. If you cross him, or lean liberal in any way, prepare to be fired. This company has done next to nothing about COVID and has no intention of complying with any formal orders for safety. Save yourself the time and apply with a company that cares about its employees and will provide the compensation and PTO that a reasonable person needs. Also there are some catty people in the marketing department, beware!

Pros

Weekly pay, owner is nice

Cons

Bad management— Management sucks! Shop is always shorthanded, stressful, pay is low for what you do & no advancement after being promised. This management team will lie to you & take advantage of you in anyway they can so THEY can get THEIR bonus! Annual bonus is a $20 gift card to Walmart for the average employee that’s not part of management. If you’re looking for a good job, DON’T apply here.

Pros

Weekly pay, some nice people

Cons

Everything is smoke and mirrors , management is horrible . The “circle” is just that ! If you’re not part of it prepare to be eaten alive by backstabbing people that will stop at nothing . It’s sort of a twisted “ good old boy” system . No one in the shops are happy and it shows . The equipment is made to go out on rent knowing that it will break down . Parts or lack of is a huge joke . Seems like anyone that has brain that talks sense somehow gets moved or fired .
