Pros

None but because I have to they use rental cars for the suckers they get in there.

Cons

No pay ! Charged me to repair there equipment and make there payroll with nothing left for the driver. Sent us ( my wife and I ) home broke and homeless ! It seems to be a scam that alot of these companies are doing now days. ie, western express and crst malone. The culmination of which left me losing my home, car and having issues with my children directly as a result of no pay !

Pros

This is a great job to learn the industry. A good starter job with not too much pressure on performance.

Cons

The base pay is so low that college grads with no industry experience are the resources you will spend the majority of your time working with. They could see exponential improvement if they tried hiring some people with experience. They do not value their top employees like they should. My numbers doubled when I started working from home but a permanent work from home option was not entertained in 2021 and this was accompanied by threats for refusing to return. The pay scale is constantly changing and never benefits the employee. They recently implemented a change that cracked down on new business bonuses that are managed via 3PLs for no valid reason. A lot of these businesses that use 3PLs due to the current business environment still value relationships and vet their own providers. Pay is substandard due to comparable roles and experience within the industry. Need to look into more resources for drop trailers, intermodal pricing, drayage partners, and cross border resources to capture more market share.

Anderson Trucking Service Response

Thanks for submitting your feedback. The freight brokerage industry is fast-paced and continues to pick up speed, especially in today’s world. Starting in 2020, our COVID-19 response has made intermittent work from home and hoteling an option for a number of employees, depending on their needs and position. In the past year and a half, we learned that as an organization we perform better together. In support of our culture of excellence, it is important to regularly assess job roles (including compensation and incentives), skills and progression to achieve results and success. The ATS Logistics career path has been a heavy focus in 2021. Earlier this year, we were proud to put a career path in place for our two core positions, National Sales Representative (NSR) and Regional Carrier Representative (RCR). The NSR and RCR career path makes a promotion and pay raise available in the first six months of employment with ATS. We’re sorry your experience with us wasn’t five stars. If you’d like to discuss your situation further please get in touch with a member of our employee relations team at 320-255-7400.

Pros

There are some good people and co-workers. Good training incentive

Cons

-Don't get too wrapped up with the training incentive. Make sure to understand the commission structure after training to see if its a good fit for you as its below average from the industry. -The sales and operations gap is a huge problem since sales is 100% dependent on operations to satisfy the customer. - The workload for some operations representatives surpass their capacity from time to time reflected in service effectiveness. Communications is a huge problem. -Over priced in an extremely competitive environment where quotes are often times a gamble and blind compared to other carriers that can do the same exact thing for less.
