High Turnover and Little Respect for Employees

Good company, okay pay and benefits. Other departments might be better than marketing.

Cons

The marketing company is in a free fall. People are either getting fired or quitting left and right. Employee moral is at an all time low. Instead of being nice to each other employees are bullying one another. We are having such staffing issues since the pay in under the market rate we can’t even get temporary contractors to sign on. The work load is insane and everything is done in a rush. You will be expected to be available 24/7 and get a project done in 2 hours that you would have 2 weeks to do at another company. Despite the rush there is no room for errors. All marketing best practices go out the window. Just get things done no matter how outdated they are is the mindset here. If you are thinking about taking a job in the marketing department, don’t.

Pros

More than a few good people who made my time there fun and enjoyable. The place is one I do not recommend to those asking me, but I am glad I had the experience nonetheless.

Cons

Management has serious issues and was formerly known as Lender Processing Services. Part of the reason for the name change was LPS' involvement, through a subsidiary, with the home mortgage robo-signing, i.e. where foreclosure documents were not properly processed and stamped to be foreclosed by an automated process rather than a live human being.

Pros

Always plenty of work to keep you busy. The camaraderie with coworkers is a huge boon to surviving the day-to-day grind.

Cons

Processes change almost daily. Communication from upper level management is poor and often infuriating. The CEO and the new CTO don't seem to know what is really going on within the company. We're based on QVR but all focus is on Risk and any Quality that is pursued often ends in more Risk overall. You are lucky if your annual raise meets cost of living increase, even with a great performance review. Projects can no longer be used in your performance evaluation and all significant work is supposed to be wrapped in a project. It is perceived that the only way to correct your salary is to leave the company and come back. I have witnessed at least 9 employees do this successfully, some multiple times, in the time I have been here. We keep hearing about how great the company is doing but not many benefits of this are witnessed by the employees.
