Pros

- Amazing benefits & incentives to get to know the rest of the team - QA is very much respected, a legitimate part of the team & does steer the direction of studio wide developments - Serious advancement opportunities for QA - Great perks and gifts for employees AND spouses/children - Empowers employees to find better ways to be efficient at their job & own tasks - Internal feedback is taken very seriously - Some of the best and most talented people are part of the team - Insight and feedback from the fans and community are taken very seriously

Cons

- Big studio means lot of management so some departments are full of unnecessary bureaucracy - While QA has advancement opportunities, most of those are into the engineering teams. Not everyone in QA wants a career in QA or to become an engineer

Pros

~Great health insurance plan ~Passport dining card and gym membership ~Stock options for certain tiers of full time employees ~Overall, direct reports are friendly and knowlegable

Cons

~No upward mobility within the company. They act very encouraging, will even talk at length with you about advancing your career there, then pile on all the responsibility and work involved in a promotion without ever giving a title change or pay bump. ~Upper management is completely out of touch with the lower tier people in their departments, then feels qualified to make decisions on career affecting things such as layoffs and overtime seemingly without ever getting feedback from those supervising the employee and their team directly ~One on one reviews are nonexistent, most times even when performance feedback is explicitly requested ~Overtime for some departments can get completely out of control; for some teams it can get up to 20+ hours a day, 6-7 days a week.
