Pros

Great pay and benefits. Had a lot of autonomy and space to work on projects.

Cons

As mentioned in headline, there are a couple guys who hold too much unofficial power and can really derail your efforts if you get on their bad side or if they feel threatened by your success. Current employees will know who I am talking about.

Pros

Good work life balance, tech stack is interesting, hybrid is nice, catered breakfast is great, good 401k match, group workouts with great personal trainer 3 times a week, good pay, smart co-workers, annual Christmas parties have been fun. I'm giving a 3/5 mainly because of the work life balance.

Cons

There's definitely some disfunction here. You have to be able to navigate it in a way to not let it affect you. Some people like to play the blame game. Communication is an issue especially across teams. Language barrier. Aside from the 401k match and health insurance, benefits are not great. Don't see many opportunities for career growth.

Horrible culture

Pros

You don't have to work full time to have a full-time salary and benefits. HR tries to hold people accountable for working full time but HR management works less than banker's hours or work fully remote which they tell us we can't do and reprimands others for not being in the office 8 hours on office days. How can you hold others to what you won't do yourself?

Cons

Same as pros - no accountability. HR leaders should not be telling Engineering managers to reprimand employees for not working 8 hours in the office when they don't. Job security, culture of hypocritical standards and behavior, no future for this company. No sales outlook and all current customers are disconnected and no more contracts.
