Pros

Decent benefits, nice office, good equipment

Cons

Each recruiting team is for a different specialty. If you wind up on a team whose physicians do mainly elective procedures, you're going to be dealing with a lot of divas. The training made no sense either. I was FINALLY being given rate negotiation classes and actual sales process classes only after being there for 7 months. And though they would like you to believe otherwise, locums work seems to be becoming much less popular with physicians. Most of my calls ended with me being hung up on after the doctor hears the word "locum tenens". It is a hard sell. Trying to talk a doctor who already works full time, into spending their time off working even more, is an uphill battle. Work life balance is nonexistent for at least the first year, as you are trying to build up your book and meet difficult metrics. (again, depending on your specialty. If you luck out and wind up on an "easy" team, you're golden).

Pay was correct and on time. First recruiter was great/easy to work with.

Cons

Second recruiter was difficult to work with. Failed to answer texts/emails in a timely manner. "Lost" communications about shifts and schedules.

Pros

Work from home was great

Cons

They will lie to you and tell you and mane promises to you from the time you interview to the time you start working about how much you’ll make in commission and you’ll barely see a thing but your base. Depending on which role you apply to and the market/industry you might make the money they tell you about or you might not. Especially with the rehab specialties. For the time I was there I definitely felt lied to and wasted my time. I don’t even put this place on my resume. I had been hired at the start of 2022 and that’s when they were on Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work” list and they wouldn’t let anyone forget. They also rub “we have a diverse environment” in your face but I barely saw that. They did a lot of tooting their own horn. I had to look elsewhere for opportunities because this place had limited room for growth. I’ve also seen Way better insurance, theirs was expensive for no reason

Pros

I love their core values. They help me grow in all aspects of my life.

Cons

Flex time. I am a salary employee but doc you every hour you are gone. I work extra hours every week. A minimum of three hours, yet if I need to leave an hour early or come in an hour late they will make sure your time off is noted.

Pros

The campus is a nice place, CORE team leaders were great and willing to help. Business partners are second to none!

Cons

Where to begin!? This job is draining, making 80-100 calls a day, knowing you’re not going to actually get ahold of anyone outside of 1 or 2 that pickup the phone and either demand astronomical rates or hang up as soon as you say who you are with. Teams that are over saturated with reps for a very limited number of physicians in a specialty. Cutthroat environment, all team reps are fighting for the same doctors. Doesn’t matter if that doctor is actually in your name. Lack of support from leadership, if you are struggling to build your book, leadership says they will help you but never actually follow through. I’m my particular case I was struggling, and told we will get you help, nothing ever materialized except for my leader creating an email trail for HR. My leader would send me an email each week going over what they did to help me, without ever having done anything they stated in the email. Very much a CYA move and deflection rather than an actual willingness to help. You are completely reliant on the client reps to push your doctors to locations. I had doctors that were interested in an assignment and the CR would leave them sitting with no information for weeks, by the time the CR would move them, the doctor was no longer interested or would have taken a position with someone else. The “rah rah we’re so great” culture was funny at first and over time showed itself to be fake and cringy. The job was not fulfilling, was not fun, and overall leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
