I would use CompuCom as learning experience not a career goal

Pros

Job satisfaction will be determined by your team interaction, benefits are good medical, 401(k) plans, holidays were based on the client holiday schedule, ability to enhance your skill level is ok

Cons

From what I saw team leads and managers were not promoted on skill, education, or experience but, to many times, on friendship with a superior. Salary increases were non existent as the then company ceo said our jobs did not change so no need to increase salaries, the technical staff produces the income but does not reap the financial rewards....

Pros

Pros are able to touch different types of equipment. Not much to say outside of this which says a lot when you're hired.

Cons

Many Cons. Where to start? Compucom is a IT consulting company that relies on biding for service contracts for different companies. Techs will never be fluent in any equipment as contracts come and go. Service documentation for said contracts are never fully explained as most protocols are made from mistakes and then added as documentation. I've worked for Compucom for 6+ years and only just received a measly dollar raise and one bonus just enough to keep me on the team for a bit longer. Management is absolutely horrendous. I reached out to management for help concerning our team but was brushed off as if the emails I sent were never delivered. The contract wins are a hit or miss. They're never transparent on what specifications were agreed upon without the Techs in mind. Techs are frustrated with poor handling of certain contracts. They hear us wanting change, but the money keeps them deaf. No such thing for compensations for doing a good job; only finger pointing as most managers are good at doing. This job is okay for entry level work, but don't commit to the company as they do not know how to properly run the company themselves.

Pros

Experienced candidates will get 10 lakhs and above package however the person slogging from years in same company will get a hike of 2 or 3 percent and wont go above 5 lakhs. Chilled environment. Good growth through IJP's even if it is in the different domain chances are much to be selected if you have knowledge of it. However being said that managers favoritism is also applicable there along with politics.

Cons

Gives a very less hike to existing employees is given.

Pros

My Team did the best they could with the resources we had and tried to help each other out as much as possible

Cons

Constant string of revolving managers, good ones left as soon as they could poor ones hung around until they were let go. Way to much overhead in management. Would not invest in training when new systems were deployed, received a few page pamphlet with the basics that management though was needed for your position. No raises. No advancement opportunities Worked at a specific location and had the position before it was outsourced to CompuCom and CompuCom's infection with ransomeware caused them to lose the contract.

Pros

Very good supportive management ….excellent WFH policies …and pretty good hikes

Cons

The bad part would be that some people in the higher management tend to have their favourites despite those people not performing with their peers and they end up winning the performer of the year award because he is in good terms with a manager

Pros

There are some amazing people at Compucom with great work ethic. However the downside is those people absorb the work of the other 50% who don't.

Cons

Approval processes as a manager are a nightmare. When working against client SLAs only to have upwards of 30 days for a simple approval is just to much.

Pros

Good colleagues in the office. Current work from home scene might change, possibly go away soon. If your interaction is more with US folks then you will love the work and freedom to work. If you have ideas, then go directly to client.

Cons

Managers are treated as Gods. Bad behavior of a Manager is not addressed until the work environment gets toxic. Your progress is only-guaranteed if you agree everything the Manager says. If you like the idea of fairness this is not the company for you. Higher Management only cares about deliverables. Tons of notes are made during townhalls, but theres no followup. Not much hope from HR team either. Like most Indian HR experience, they forget about employees after joining date. Hiring process could use major improvements. Managers will not defend you at their own cost. Managers only look out for themselves. For a company that size everything is tackled in Excel. No work life balance, be available whenever asked
