Pros

Work from home. Great benefits such as dental and health. Learn about ticketing system, and escalation teams. Great training provided on how to give great customer service. Learn different support areas such as resetting passwords in AD, installing network printers, Citrix, Outlook etc.

Cons

After 6 months the support areas might start to become repetitive for an experienced technician. Hard to move up to level 2.

Pros

The company is willing to help you get what you need to educate yourself - certification training and the like.

Cons

It does not matter what you do to elevate your career though. Your salary has a very low, hard cap, and they will not go above it. 15 years there and they decided to just bump me at that time to 20 an hour. The communication there is very mixed up. You'll often be referred to a point of conversation that you were never part of, never in communication with, and meetings will never seem organized to get the information relevant to your department.

Pros

My Team did the best they could with the resources we had and tried to help each other out as much as possible

Cons

Constant string of revolving managers, good ones left as soon as they could poor ones hung around until they were let go. Way to much overhead in management. Would not invest in training when new systems were deployed, received a few page pamphlet with the basics that management though was needed for your position. No raises. No advancement opportunities Worked at a specific location and had the position before it was outsourced to CompuCom and CompuCom's infection with ransomeware caused them to lose the contract.

Pros

Easy to understand training documents. And very helpful supervisory staff and higher level co-workers.

Cons

If you have a lot of experience prior to hiring, you may only be in your position for 2> years. Turnover can be high if not in a major hub.

Pros

The company has a good benefit program, is a good place to learn and grow

Cons

sometimes missing training for the position, you already bring experience and competences but in order to adapt to the new company expectations there are not clear instructions.

Pros

I cannot think of any pros working here.

Cons

1. The team lead will shout unreasonably in front of the whole team for no reason. Did not happen to me but I was shadowing a person who joined the company few months back and she made some mistake while assigning to the ticket. Team lead came into our call and yelled at her for 20 minutes, did not let her speak a word and asked her to keep quite until he finishes. 2. They pay 17$/hour only, with not so great benefits at all. No reimbursement for your work from home office equipment. 3. The person I was shadowing for the training used to ask me to take 12 minutes break and 25 minutes lunch only not 2*15 minutes break and 30 minutes for the lunch. 4. One person I was shadowing for one day told me that he always works after hours to complete the tickets he couldn't when answering the calls when I asked him to leave when my shift was done. 5. Last and the most important thing, there is no formal training thing in place. There is no one to introduce you to the system, nothing at all. You just see people answering the calls for two weeks and then you start doing your job from the 3rd week and if you make a mistake, team lead will yelled at you.

Pros

The job opportunity and flexibility

Cons

had i took benefits my starting pay would have been 10$/hr with that I would have been paying into my benefits and 401k which would have put me pretty much getting a bill rather than a paycheck had i went that route. Constantly being told never discuss wages with our client or among each other. Being told the next person to ask for a raise would be fired. Got a day and a half of training then was left on my one at a remote site to basically make it up as I went.
