Pros

A good place for a young sales person to get started.

Cons

A lot of changes in upper management. No real focus

Pros

They haven't gone bankrupt yet?

Cons

Management - There is no competent person in management at local sites. Don't try to contact Payroll there isn't a way to do so. There appear to be skilled managers at the headquarters in Buffalo, but they employ poorly trained and impersonal people to herd the employees and crack the whip. The company is inflexible and "charges" employees for "training costs" upon separation by reducing their pay for their last paycheck to minimum wage or otherwise charge the employee for earned vacation time. Extreme attrition due to inattentive "managers"

Pros

The talented people that are part of CTG help make ita great company to be part of. I am very excited about the current changes at CTG and our bright future. I truly love being part of this company.

Cons

I do not have any cons to share about CTG. There are challenges working for any company but those I have experienced at CTG are few and far between.

Great Place to Work

Pros

Collaborative environment. Autonomy to get your job done, but "being busy" is not enough - results are what matters. This works for some, but is not a great fit for others. Remote work opportunities in most areas of the company. Great people and strong teams. A lot of employees with significant tenures speaks to the stability of many jobs at CTG - both billable and OH. Growing number of opportunities for new team members. Offer benefits packages for the individual, individual + spouse, or family for FT employees.

Cons

Benefits packages could be stronger, but not all that different than those offered by other "like" companies. Opportunities for growth can be limited in some areas of the company and/or slow to achieve

Thank you for the positive feedback! We agree that CTG encourages an environment where employees can apply and develop their strengths throughout their careers. Our extensive and diverse client network, as well as our diverse and growing number of overhead and support positions, allows us to map candidates’ distinct qualifications and individual desires to a multitude of open positions. Successfully locating positions that meet candidates’ work environment, compensation, and professional development requirements is important to us. We’re happy to see that employees recognize our commitment to doing so.

Pros

Great people. Salary was on par but the bonus structure was great.

Cons

Not much vision in management. There was little growth happening in the EMR world at the time, lots of shifts in management, poor performing stock. The Health Solutions side needed a real shake up.

Pros

I've been with CTG for over a year and continue to be so pleasantly surprised by how great the company is. The people are really nice and down-to-earth, very easy to work with, all driven to succeed.

Cons

Our benefits and 401(k) contribution could be better

We appreciate your positive feedback! Your comments encompass our view of CTG’s culture: a collaborative work environment focused on providing reliable service to our clients. “Respect others” is a core value at CTG and we’re happy to hear you’ve seen it in action. Concerning our benefits and 401(k) contributions, we understand how important these are to employees. Each year, before open enrollment, our Benefits team works closely with our vendors and our outside consultants to closely examine the CTG benefit plans and to design the very best programs with our employee population in mind. In addition, our executive team continuously assesses our ability to contribute to employees’ 401(k) plans. We assure you that benefits plans and 401(k) contributions are top of mind with our leadership team, and we are committed to providing a total compensation package that fits our employees’ varied needs. We wish you continued success at CTG!

Pros

The people here go out of their way to help. There is a lot of tenure, both with employees and with clients, so that is good.

Cons

Tenure can be a good thing, but can also be an obstacle when people don't know what is going on in the industry outside of our company. A more open view to new thoughts and ways of thinking would be ideal.
