There is no work-life balance while working here. While they say you get every other Friday off, that is not what happens in reality. There is no working together of any of the departments. Everyone (especially the top executives) are too busy blaming things on other departments/people rather than figuring out the root cause of the problem or fixing the issue. It is the most toxic environment I have ever experienced and would not recommend anyone to work here. Perhaps there are departments that are segregated from this type of behavior, but I found it to be fairly widespread.

Poor-quality, "lifer"management team. Cubic is a company for folks who value secure, decades-long employment over advancement, quality or career growth. Loyalty is rewarded more than competency. The opportunities for career advancement are minimal. The public-sector customers in the transit division nearly all universally hate Cubic for the poor quality of service it provides. The consistently poor quality of Cubic Transportation's products and services is difficult to stomach for anyone used to a dynamic, value-driven workplace. It can be humiliating to work here. Cubic does a poor job of delivering solutions. They focus is on getting the bid, and then everything falls apart.
