Pros

Regular work, benefits, tuition reimbursement. There is some room to grow but it really depends on the location.

Cons

Bad management, little training, high turnover rate. It's basically a lot of data entry, answering phones, other employees don't always show up.

Pros

Good work life balance. The company has a very corporate structure and cooperative people. The office is very easily accessible.

Cons

Some people can be hard to handle. Training opportunities are hard sought. Social events are very limited and no benefits other than salary and supper.

Pros

Great co-workers. Young, lively and enthusiastic department. Very supportive line managers. Good internal training. Prospects to manage small teams within a couple of years.

Cons

The work can be quite repetitive at times. The skills learnt in this role are not very transferable to other companies. Pay rises are sometimes difficult to come across.

Pros

Office Culture, personal growth with training. This is truly a place to call home, a company who cares about their staff and value our opinions. I couldn't work for a better company doing what I love

Cons

work-life balance, one downfall is that I am married to my job, I see my co-workers more than my family, I can say though this is mostly of my own doing.

Pros

Good pay Leading emerging technologies and interactive training techniques

Cons

Development studio is relatively new, encountering all the normal problems of a normal game studio (staffing fluctuates by large margins, lack of strong pipeline processes, poor communication between teams)

Pros

The company is very good at training to make sure you fully understand the position before they leave you alone to work with the students independently.

Cons

I have not found a con for this particular position.

Pros

Good people to work with. Ok benefits, flexible work hours and central location. 9 hours day (Every other Friday off)

Cons

No morals, all politics. No room to grow. No training. Old timers run the show. It's expected to work at least 20% more than your scheduled hours. No job security at all. 70s style buildings.

Pros

Great salary and benefits (although sick pay is aka vacation). Seems like there is room for career growth but hard to influence decision makers. Flexibility in teleworking.

Cons

No on boarding process; zero or minimal training; not a "learning organization"; hard to impress management unless you are already in the circle of trust from previous relationships. Cubic is made up of clusters of acquisitions and they don't always synchronize.
