As always, restricted by deadlines - though the company is brilliant.

Need slicker processes, project assurances and organised training. Not good for a train commute, UK head office in the middle of nowhere. Only 25 days leave.

Burdensome annual training that in no way relates to the job I was contracted for.

Support is often lacking. Staff tend to be over-worked. Yet, reward and recognition is very poor. Salary is low for the market.

The Management doesn’t bother to provide proper training. They would just pretend to be very caring and keep something in writing to save their back.

Roster preferences were not always taken into consideration, being a 24 hour call centre meant one month finishing at 10pm, the next 1am, the next 10pm with no consistency - causing illness in multiple CSRs and the lack of empathy was shocking. Company went through three managers in six months in our location - not that the managers ever spoke directly to the CSRs anyway. Positive reinforcement was all but unheard of - while any constructive criticisms were apparently delivered telepathically. Team leaders could be quite clique-y. No real chances for advancement or additional training provided to CSR's, meaning management positions were often filled by less than savoury individuals.

Atmosphere/socialisation varied by office site, I found some were less enjoyable than others. Some projects include working with employees in other countries, so to talk to them calls outside of normal office hours are needed. Lots of new projects at the moment, so can be busy.
