Pros

Busy! Moving product and making profit and a few great people.

Cons

DRH has some great people but treats them terrible. Promise of bonuses that you will never see. Training is unprofessional except for a few. Expectations and treatment of vendors is unprofessional.

Pros

Great job in the current market

Cons

Training program in its infancy, (very much OJT-based, which is needed) but training program should help future supers get settled in!

Pros

Friendly and tight-knit office, friendly coworkers in other departments, even. High focus on training you to do your job well; I never felt like I had been thrown into the deep end.

Cons

Data entry work can be repetitive and tiring.

Pros

Well balanced, no mandatory overtime, weekends off, hands on labor/ computer work. You meet a variety of different people from different backgrounds. Self starting and not micromanaged unless underperforming. Endless things to learn and improve yourself in your career on the daily. Benefits- Health, dental, eye. 401k with 50% up to 6% match. Stock with 15% discount on Dr horton stocks through Charles Schwab brokerage.

Cons

Rely on superintendents to finish their work, so it doesn’t fall on you. Dealing with customers who have unrealistic needs/ desires, who do not understand what is under warranty. There is not an official training program, in other words thrown into the field. If you do not have previous construction experience or basic understanding of it, it could be a challenge.
