It started off promising

Pros

The IP that Enavate acquired from MBSDev in 2015 is one of the best and most promising out there. The people were great.

Cons

Very little talent left after Enavate cleaned house. Most of the Executive Management that handled the acquisition and merger have left the company, for better or worse. Management kept throwing around the word "family" to describe what we supposedly were. Most of us bought into it and worked diligently trying to turn this into a world class company. If we were a family, it was the type where the parents lie to the children with a smile on their faces assuring everyone that things were great. Unfortunately management didn't, and still doesn't, understand how to run a company. They allowed clients and sales to dry up. Once they realized there were money issues they did a 180, fired most of their consultants, and focused entirely on sales. How exactly do you support a sale when there are no warm bodies left to implement and manage client requirements? That is the question that Exec Mgmt continues to fail to address. At the beginning Consultants and Developers were laid off as your standard post-acquisition downsizing. At the end? Laid off because there hadn't been any work available for 5 months. That should tell the entire story right there.

You are correct that the IP we acquired is pretty cool. Although it needs a refresh which is a large investment and then we will promote and sell our IP as we roll it forward to Dynamics 365. We have had to make some tough decisions to right size the business and are happy to say that it has worked. We do believe in family and by definition families stick together as we move forward in to the future.

Great Talk, No Action

Pros

Nothing to add. There does not seem to be any up-side to this company.

Cons

Talk of great bonus programs, nothing in year and a half. Just dangling carrots. Failure to execute on new work for existing employees, all outsourced to Ukraine. Dropped the 401K employer match (since Dec 2015) Terminated by speaker phone by a manager that I never met 10% Pay reduction to all employees (Dec 2015, recently reinstated just prior to being terminated) Core Values Family – We take care of our own. (If you are ex-Anderson, Accenture, Avanade JS or one of the good-old-boys) Innovation – We explore, evolve, and seek excellence on every level. Really helpful if you are Dutch or speak Ukrainian. Results – We are achievers who set high goals and reach them. This is for the management team only. Integrity – We are trustworthy. Our word is our bond. Again, only in upper-management.

Pros

None. A once vibrant and exciting place to work down the drain.

Cons

New owners have ruined what was a good place to work. The flagship software package, developed by a core team, has been given to developers in the Ukraine who have no idea how it works, leaving the staff in the states wondering what they do next. Sales are through the floor. Investors have backed out and staff has been decimated and demoralized. Anyone who can get a job is leaving before they are unceremoniously sacked. Typical Arthur Anderson alumni management. See how many bodies can be billed for on a project.
