Thank you for your feedback. Our team receives your input with much consideration. We love our students as well as our staff and we pride ourselves on #BuildingLove here at EHTP, ensuring that every member of our community feels like they are a part of a second family of their own.
Our school leadership and operations teams make considerable efforts to ensure the safety of students and staff on all of our school sites. All of our classrooms are well equipped with proper sterilization cleaning tools and hand sanitizer to prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19. We've seen spikes in cases at all the same times that the city as a whole has, and never had an indication that spread was happening at school (cases have largely been disconnected in time and space, suggesting that students are infected outside of school). We provide staff testing three times per week, we've been more aggressive than DOE policy dictates in implementing measures like classroom closures, virtual learning, and restricted campus access. As a result of our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 cases in our schools, our positivity rates have remained, throughout the pandemic, dramatically lower than the surrounding neighborhood and the city at large.
