Pros

Nice people Fun product to sell (when you can actually sell it) Remote work

Cons

The adjective "miserable" is often used to describe life within sales. It's a toxic culture with extremely low moral that upper management is aware of yet don't try to fix. A new CRO was brought on immediately terminated our respected VP leaders only to replace them with new managers that have 0 previous managing experience Changes to our processes are implemented hastily, without much forethought about how they'll affect the team. They continue iterating on those changes so often that no one can keep up which causes for a lot of frustration You will work very hard for very little reward, don't count on a work life balance as there is a lack of consideration for personal time Marketing is of no support. Inbound leads are practically non-existent. Since our shift from Socialbakers to Emplifi, any semblance of brand reputation recovery has been absent There is zero growth opportunity here. You are a cog in the wheel and will never be more than that, they likely won't even know your name If you're not a "yes, sir" type of person, they will PIP you, and if you hit that PIP, they will put you on another PIP just to get rid of you The pay abysmal and there are 0 company perks beyond the standard health insurance. No stock options or monthly stipends of any sort

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your honest insights, and we're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience. We want you to know that we take your concerns seriously and are committed to addressing them. Here are some examples of what we are already doing: We have launched a company-wide mentoring program to help colleagues grow personally and professionally. Additional function-specific mentoring is available for our BDR colleagues. On managers' performance, in the sales department the rating was 4.4 out of 5 in an engagement survey we ran last year, the second highest in the company overall. To continue to elevate our manager’s skills, we have launched management training program We offer many additional benefits on top of base salary, including unlimited PTO and 2 volunteering days, plus various other benefits based on geo location. We continue to create strong company culture through various initiatives and projects run by our culture ambassadors. Your concerns about work-life balance, growth opportunities, and the support you receive are important to us. We're actively exploring ways to enhance our employees' experience, including offering additional resources and support.

Pros

The product is a well rounded tool and theres a lot of potential to make money in the long run here.

Cons

The sales org restructures every quarter and it's hard to get a firm number on what goals are. There's also lay offs once a quarter for some reason.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Organizational restructures do happen occasionally on account of various factors and layoffs can, unfortunately, sometimes be a part of it.

Pros

Remote Work Great Co-workers that are always willing to help and teach Lower management are excellent

Cons

Layoffs every quarter does not produce great morale amongst the troops. Pretty soon the only people that will be left is the guy sweeping in the corner of which there isn't one. I'm trying not to be bitter as I was swept up in this latest round of layoffs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We acknowledge that this year has been particularly challenging, and we understand how difficult it is to be impacted by workforce reductions. And whilst we had to make the difficult decision to part with some colleagues, we have not conducted layoffs every quarter. Moving forward, our focus is on stabilizing the organization and supporting our people. We do not take lightly the fact that additional workloads may strain remaining team members and are very intentional about distributing the workloads in a fair and balanced way. Creating an environment where our workforce can thrive—and not merely get by—remains a priority as we continue implementing strategic changes. Thank you for your candid feedback. We regret that you were personally affected by these changes. While the path forward isn’t without challenges, we are committed to supporting our teams, and making the necessary course corrections to strengthen our future.
