Pros

The leadership team at SharpSpring really seems to care about its people, rather than just paying lip service to that value. There are many examples of this throughout my time here. I had grown pretty cynical about corporate culture over the years, but SharpSpring is starting to change that view. The company culture that is oriented towards its people trickles down to all parts of the organization. The people that work at SharpSpring are almost universally really smart, friendly, and helpful. Folks work across multiple teams and you don't really encounter the "that's not my job" mentality at SharpSpring. I took a lower level position (and a pay cut) to come work for SharpSpring after hearing a lot of hype about the organization. I was seeking a better work-life balance, and SharpSpring has delivered on that hype It's a core value of the team and management. Coming to SharpSpring has been one of the better career moves I've made. I'm happier, healthier, and already working my way back up the ladder. I've been on the team for six months and already gotten two promotions. SharpSpring leadership recognizes competency & potential and rewards that. The leadership team (including the CEO) is very down to earth and doesn't just welcome feedback, but actively solicits it. Perhaps the best thing I can say - I have encouraged all my friends to come work for SharpSpring. The same thing goes for many of the team. Employee referrals are very common for recruiting. When people want to bring in their friends and family, you know the place is good!

Cons

There are some challenges with working at SharpSpring, and I will say it's not the right fit for everyone. SharpSpring is essentially still a startup. With that, there is a lot of change that happens frequently. In order to be successful, you will need to remain flexible and open to doing different things. For me, that's perfect. But if you want a job that is consistently the same across a long time period, SharpSpring might not be the company for you. Though I will say changes are usually well communicated and are usually the product of collaborative team-based thought processes. In short - SharpSpring is still figuring things out. If you are smart and want to be part of figuring that out, you can thrive. But, if you want to be part of a team that already has all it's processes done, this isn't the place for you.

Pros

Smart people, many went on to work at Constant Contact who acquired them.

Cons

Some fragmented leadership decision making made for office politics that trickled down.
