Pros

There used to be a reason to work here to service the patients, those days are long gone.

Cons

They push employees to meet numbers everyday. They don't care about customer service any longer. They are into consumerology, but to the employees it means servicing the patient's that built the company. They loose contracts every month due to less and less service. They bring in supervisors and managers rather than promoting from within. There is no longevity here because senior mangement drives everyone out. There is no respect for the staff that keeps the engine running.

Pros

Dynamic Company that is growing in the marketplace. They have a young leadership in SR Management. They think out of the box. Thhey are continuing to grow in this marketplace. Thhey are very fluid, sometimes too fluid.

Cons

Being located in St. Louis but the employeees here are very friendly and professional. Everyone helps each other in the office and outside the office for newcomers to the area.

Pros

The best reason to work for ESI is for insurance benefits. They're not as good as you might expect for a PBM, but if you don't have anything else, it's an improvement.

Cons

Lack of growth opportunities. The job itself lacks challenges, it's just very monotonous. Probably the worst part is having to defend business practices that are often indefensible, and having to sell patients on a home delivery service knowing that the product doesn't work.
