Pros

The best reason to work for ESI is for insurance benefits. They're not as good as you might expect for a PBM, but if you don't have anything else, it's an improvement.

Cons

Lack of growth opportunities. The job itself lacks challenges, it's just very monotonous. Probably the worst part is having to defend business practices that are often indefensible, and having to sell patients on a home delivery service knowing that the product doesn't work.

Pros

The benefits are good and working conditions are good.

Cons

Employee suggestions and questions are brushed aside. There is a big turnover in new employees because of the difficulty of the job, and management is not doing a good job of making corrections or additions to the software we use to do our job.
