Pros

Express Scripts has a very effective software F14 that it inherited from Medco which aids pharmacists and technicians with accurate data entry, potential drug/drug, drug/allergies, drug/disease interactions, as well as streamline processing for highly accuracy and efficiency: Green, Yellow, or Red indicators. Express Scripts is all about numbers AND accuracy. I liked my job and enjoyed working for Express Scripts while I was there. The company culture was friendly, everybody was very supportive of one another.

Cons

Shrinking business and potential mass layoff.

You don't want to work there

Pros

It's close to home, and they do allow you to flex your schedule for appointments

Cons

They only care about making the Pharmacists happy. Upper management take the time to come on the floor and speak with and interact with the Pharmacists. They set out rate/hour unrealistically high to acheive and expect zero errors to be made, then berate you if you make errors or cannot acheive the high rate. The pay is low for your knowledge and they treat non pharmacist as "monkeys" that are incapable of having any intelligence or knowledge at all, even though there are many non pharmacist employees degrees, licenses, and certifications.

Pros

benefits, PTO (if you allowed to take the days requested)

Cons

Management seems to be using "the book of failed management": heavy reliance on metrics (that are made up to have something to tabulate but are irrelevant to actual job), blame vs coaching (tho they have started using that moniker), keep employees isolated (as opposed to encouraging team-playing & problem solving), punish employees for questions about "opportunities" or for bringing "challenges" (& solutions) to light, organizational charts do not reflect chain of command (supervisors ignorant of subordinates responsibilities, could not take over for the employee, but full of negative feedback).
