Pros

The staff are friendly and accepting. The company is extremely flexible in their definition of "Hybrid." Twice a month is minimum.

Cons

The pay is minimum to remain competitive and the training material is severely lacking. It is made up for by staff being helpful, but the video tutorials and documentation are a complete mess and the employees don't want to seem to acknowledge that reality.

Avoid at all costs

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good compensation and benefits package

Cons

The Express Scripts/Evernorth environment was one that I would avoid at all costs. The departments have an adversarial mindset and will go out of their way to not cooperate with each other. The worst part I noticed was stability. The majority of the team was there for a year or less. Both managers were just hired in 2023 and one of them moved on before busy season. 6-7 Managers in 18-20 months for a two manager department. The Directors put a lot on certain team members while leaving training wheels on more senior members for some reason. Directors and Managers have a tenuous grasp of the process and what they are asking employees to deal with. The highest achievers on the team worked 50+ hours to stay on target. For a role, and company, that stresses health and work-life balance, that was not the experience for anyone in the department I worked in and the departments I worked with. The entity is living off of the Cigna Group, and advertises its roles as such. Do not fall for the trap, stay at your current role and keep applying elsewhere. Find the right company, as I don't believe many who work here are happy.

Pros

good amount of pto/vacation time.

Cons

policies, workplace attitude, overall experience as a PCA not good. Training isn’t very good. Their use of certain apps especially one they call Knowledge exchange is not a very useful tool despite them telling you it is. Systems have issues on occasion. They don’t pay you for missing work even though the equipment isn’t working. Supervisors while they can be nice, some weren’t understanding very much.

Pros

Truly remote work from home position

Cons

Was hired as Cigna and it wasn’t disclosed until after that it was express scripts. Training was beyond awful, unorganized, unprofessional, no training environment, no support.
