Pros

Nothing positive to say about them

Cons

Poor culture, corrupt managers and HR. Left negative reasons for my resignation, none were addressed internally including unwanted physical sexual harassment. Nothing on record and my resignation is not on file. Complaints made about colleagues and no action taken. Toxic culture and corrupt managers paying colleagues to keep quiet

Pros

Flexible schedule, decent PTO amounts(if you're able to use it)

Cons

This is the worst company as far as a claims processor job goes. Here's everything i feel needs mentioned. They hire at an hourly rate, but, after training you start on ramp, which is a higher amount per claim paid. You get 2 weeks of ramp 1, and then 2 of ramp 2 before getting to the base matrix pay. You WILL NOT get your hourly for a long time because the amount of claims they expect you to do straight out training is ridiculous and the pay isn't enough for the work needed, between following their procedures and fighting through the constant issues their systems seem to have daily. The claims that were easy all are now processed by bots, making the claims we pull require a lot more time and the matrix pay doesn't reflect it nor is it regularly updated while new procedures get added or old ones get updated to take more time. This may partially be because they keep all the fast examiners on a product and move slower examiners around, even as soon as having just trained on a new product, creating overly inflated claims per hour requirements and and lower matrix pay. Also, if you receive one singular error, your matrix rate goes down and stays down for 3 months, which doesnt sound too bad but youre expected to do upwards of 500 claims a week and maybe get 10 audits a month. You do get a small grace period after training but if you train on a new product its only a week long as opposed to a month when you first start. Getting trained on a new product only grants you 1 week of ramp each. Only 2 people are allowed off per supervisor per day, overtime is near constant, and if too many people are off in a month they freeze PTO for the next month. For the love of your mental health, look ANYWHERE ELSE! P.S. Hourly doesnt matter too much but I currently make less than 16 an hour and when I brought up that new hires were getting 16 an hour and requested for current examiners to get a raise they said "they will review it at yearly review to see if that's something they want to do" for us. Just to give you an idea of their mindset. You will not be thought of as a person here

Thank you very much for leaving us a review. We appreciate the hard work and effort you put in during your time with Firstsource. We appreciate the feedback regarding your dissatisfaction with your previous role, work culture, and pay. Our pay for performance model is not a great fit for everyone and we continuously review our models to ensure they are attainable and reasonable. We are committed to making a workplace where Firstsourcers can thrive and achieve their very best. We encourage open conversations with managers and our HR team to address any concerns, but understand that it can be difficult to feel like proper attention is placed in the correct areas. We appreciate your feedback and use information from experiences like this when reevaluating our processes. We wish you the best in your future endeavors. Thank you again!
