Pros

Depending on the team, work-life balance can be good.

Cons

Still calls everyone a 'family' but then has multiple rounds of layoffs. Brags about having over $1 billion in the bank, but cries poverty and cuts benefits and leaves for those who are left after the layoffs. Executives still making millions (especially the new President). Now forcing people back into the office, despite saying before that no one would be forced into the office just to sit on Zoom all day. Have seen many times discrimination and harassment that was reported, but nothing was done. Really sad to see this culture go downhill so quickly after hearing great stories from coworkers about how great the culture used to be. I'm glad the IPO made some people rich, but this company doesn't care about you or any of their employees.

Pros

Most people really mean well, and many are incredibly collaborative. It's easy to get help - if you ask for it (and you will need to ask for it a lot). Good benefits, such as WFH internet and health/wellness stipends. Diverse employee base in comparison to other tech companies, though still a lot of white sales bros.

Cons

Favoritism is rampant. If you fit into the mold exactly, fully buy into the rah rah culture and never question process, you'll do great. Otherwise if you dare point out areas of improvement or try to run a sales cycle ethically by being honest about product shortfalls with prospects, you'll be considered a bad performer. Serious lack of strategic vision, very reactionary vs. proactive. Product team is in shambles, it takes MANY unhappy customers in order to think about maybe working on something as opposed to adding features or fixing issues proactively in order to be a leader in the industry. CRM is the worst of all, CX and Service are better about it. Work/life balance is encouraged verbally but there is a lot of pressure to "be a team player" and step up even when it's not necessary, understaffing all across the board leading to burnout. Salaries are under industry average. Leadership means well but many are incompetent nor have the proper experience for their title (again, lots of internal favoritism). They seem to only favor workhorses that never complain and don't like to hear it when something isn't working.

Pros

People below Director-level were wonderful colleagues and true team members. These people got work done, worked together, and tried to keep a positive work environment

Cons

Upper management played so much politics that they were basically paid to hire and fire people left and right with absolutely no reason. Terrible ethics and terrible treatment of employees who dedicated so much time. Managers were asked to put team members on PIPs so that they could justify laying them off, which they did anyway, and then rehired using different names. Complete chaos with zero process for more than a week.
