Still a Boy's Club...

Pros

Moderate Benefits, new electronic equipment, relatively short commute. There is the opportunity to work with some very talented people.

Cons

Old fashioned management style, still a boy's club here...parts of company extremely sexist, women aren't promoted leaving many to become pigeonholed. Mentoring does not exist, but harassment, favoritism and retaliatory actions do. Upper Management allows it to happen even when they are aware of it going on. Upper Management loves to trot around the globe taking their buddies with them. Huge amounts of company spent, then when the quarterly numbers aren't as high as they'd like, quick to lay blame on employees. Goals aren't presented when initially employed, no 6 month review for a head's up or chance to improve. You'll find out where you missed the mark on your annual appraisal when it's too late. Initially looks like a great place to work or even get a foot in the door. Just don't expect to progress anywhere. So much turn around it will make your head spin, they just can't keep good people. If you're looking to work at a dead end job, this is the place to be.

This business is in trouble.

Pros

You can get assigned to work with some high-profile fortune 100 companies.

Cons

Their learning/training business is in trouble. No new contracts, sales/marketing/business development team bailing out and haven't been replaced. Lots of layoffs/resignations which they seem to keep real quiet. Mgt team seems clueless. For a training and performance company, where is the training and performance incentives???

GP Strategies fly by night

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

There was not much pros besides the paycheck clearing

Cons

GP strategies is hands down the worst company i have ever worked for. Management was understaffed, and they had no idea what was really going on or what typical job functions are standard for certain job titles. The entire time i was there i was never given any clear direction as to what to do, where to get help with on boarding problems etc. I was hook line and sinker-ed upon being employed by them. And the managers were very shady and constantly lacked transparency, and employees were purposefully left in the dark about many matters that involve their job security. My division in Aerospace operated like a fly by night company.
