Pros

GoFundMe is easily the most exciting, fun, and world-changing job I've ever had. Not only does this place have a great vibe, but every day that I walk in, I know we truly are "changing the way the world gives" in such a positive way. My interactions with my co-workers and customers alike are meaningful - everyone pushes each other to do better, think quicker, and encourage discussion from the CEO to a new hire.

Cons

GoFundMe is growing at an insane rate. As such, we are having some growing pains. We are currently working hard to increase our headcount as quickly as possible to better help our users, as well as make things easier for everyone within the company. It's not really a "con," but just know that you'll be working hard, a lot, and it'll be worth it with all the room for growth into other positions that are quickly becoming available. But hey, that also means great overtime pay!

Pros

As a Customer Happiness Agent, you are surrounded by extremely positive people who constantly encourage and support you. Hard work is definitely acknowledged and rewarded, and everyone is happy to help you achieve your goals in any way they can. You are given the autonomy to run your own projects and work closely with the Development Team to enhance the product and our tools. I can honestly say I love each and every person I work with and am happy to go to work each day. As with every startup, there are constant new challenges, and I am proud to work with a team that can think on their feet and adapt to each new situation seamlessly and efficiently. The compensation is very fair, and the benefits are awesome. If you like to be challenged and surrounded by sharp, happy people with a great sense of humor, I would definitely recommend applying to join our team.

Cons

GoFundMe is growing very quickly, and with that can come growing pains. However, I think the team does a great job of keeping the culture, and hiring strong. The job is extremely fast-paced and can sometimes seem overwhelming, so if you're not quick on your feet and don't perform well under pressure, it might not be the best fit. The schedule can also take some getting used to, as it's not your typical 9-5 job, but this is all laid out for you from the beginning.

Pros

Working at GoFundMe is a blast. Not only do I enjoy being around my coworkers, but the environment is friendly and challenging. On top of that, feedback is encouraged at all levels, and I am given the autonomy to pursue my own projects and improve our product. Lastly, I feel truly valued and supporter by GoFundMe. They take good care of their employees and they make sure we feel that, too.

Cons

Work-life balance would be the biggest struggle. Rarely do I have to take work home with me, but the hours of a Customer Happiness Agent can vary quite a bit. GoFundMe keeps the schedules steady for a month, but they change on a monthly basis and sometimes my social life can suffer as a result.
