Pros

-Entry level salaries are decent -Corporate office is close to a variety of restaurants for lunch -Decent "swag"

Cons

Although the benefits and salary is up to par with other companies, the culture is non-existent (although the training videos allude otherwise), nepotism runs rampant, and 'extreme ownership' is preached throughout by the executive team, yet none of them seem to practice what they preach.

Horrible leadership and lots of FAKE REVIEWS

Pros

The front door is easily accessible when you decide to leave. Employees were cool, but often too burned out. There are so many companies with amazing cultures and work environments, do your mental health and your loved ones a favor and look else where. Watch out for these fake reviews! I can not express how happy I was to leave this company and you will be too! If and when you decide to leave, former employees will gladly give you a referral, because they know what you are going through. Reach out to them for help!

Cons

Many of the negatives reviews below are true, I would like to give further insights as someone who was in a leadership role and worked closely with other leaders: 1) Leaders do not care about your work/life balance. They only care about your output and believe as leaders they have to push and find ways to get the most out of employees 2) people worked through covid and leadership allowed it (look at point #1). People had covid in the office and high risk individuals were forced to come to the office and not allowed to work remote. 3) Extreme micro-management like I have never seen before, bring about a new level toxicity 4) leaders will lie to employees to get them to work harder and increase output. "Whatever it takes" to get results 5) fake open positions were created to give employees the idea that advancement opportunities are available. This was done to drive employees to work harder. Due to a large amount of people leaving, there was discussion around promoting someone but with a low salary to keep costs low. 6) employees are known to have to work very late, weekends and even holidays like Christmas. Leadership will expect and send emails/asks anytime they feel fit. 7) In a leadership meeting, executive leadership demanded everyone work more, come to office earlier and leave later. Also implied that promotions/raises/bonuses would only be given to those who work more. Note people were already working alot, I could not believe what I was hearing. 8) employees who complain about the work life balance are labeled as defeatist, weak, untalented, etc. 9) while out after work hours, leadership thought it would be funny to insult waiters. 10) the culture is toxic, you have to embrace this weird mentality that groundworks is perfect and the best place to work. You have be one of the "tribe". 11) people out in the field are looked down upon. Salesmen have the bonus structured so that they have to work crazy hours to hit the bonus 12) all companies go through growth, good leaders are what make the difference. Bad leaders blame the growth for the toxic environment. Treat your employees better. I feel bad for companies we acquire, your culture, balance, everything is out the window. And it will always be your fault as to why your not hitting your numbers. Don't expect this to be a balanced relationship. And most people will get fired as stated in another comment. This is a very unhealthy work environment with leadership who could care less about you.

Pros

The coffee is free, the building is nice, and they have cool shirts.

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant at groundworks. Titles can be whatever you'd like, if you know the right people. Bizwiz happens to be the software they can't get rid of but really want to. They've just invested too much into the homegrown CRM that's filled with more bugs than a roach infested motel 6. Upper Management uses you for their own gain and upward movement, promises this and that for your hard work, and then ultimately kicks you to the curb when you're deemed expendable. Scheming to fire people was a frequent past time for one particular upper management individual. This was left unchecked and cost a handful of people their jobs. There's a reason a constant hiring ad is up for DBA and Dev personnel...
