Pros

I think I lucked out with my manager. She was pretty old school but knew what she was doing most of the time. I had a second job and they were really flexible around that

Cons

As the filing deadline got closer everyone got way more stressed. There was a first year tax preparer that swore she'd never be back...

Pros

I enjoyed working at H&R Block because the environment was so laid back and I was able to talk with customers as they waited on their appointment time.

Cons

This was a season position but would have loved to be there year round.
