      Pros

      Very amenable to employee's with special accommodation requests; Works with employee to maintain work/life balance; generally pleasant working environment; many opportunities for training

      Cons

      Some districts' training schedules are not finalized until the week of classes- if you're teaching you may not know until that day. Scheduling hours during tax season is very problematic; difficult to impose when you will be working (same as above). Hiring promises are not always kept- positions maybe be offered verbally and then rescinded at a later date.

      1) If you are a hard worker, you will do well. 2) Great comp, salary, and benefits package 3) Strong leadership 4) Great work/life balance

      Cons

      1) There has been a layoff almost every year the past 5 years 2) Declining industry (although they have a growth plan now) 3) Political environment

      At H&R Block I had a flexible schedule, friendly co-workers, clean work invironment, helpfull staff, updated training, opportunity for advancement, access to online training.

      Cons

      At H&R Block I had low pay, an overwhelming work pace during peak hours. some clients had a strong body odor.
