      Pros

      Easy to complete taxes on the software. If you have a simple W2 then any monkey can fill it out. The tax associates do take tests and continue education.

      Cons

      -Pay is just a little above min. Wage -People Center is rude when call -expect unprofessional people in the office that are always gossiping about someone. -office manager likes to start drama and doesn't understand tax stuff. Look for the office manager to always ask help from another. --If customer gets a tax letter, the company wants to charge them $100 just to read the letter unless they pay the 'peace of mind.' -It costs employees $20 to take tests and needed courses to work.

      Compensation and Benefits package, flexible work schedule, and opportunities to work remotely.

      Long hours during peak season, travel schedule and family balance and remote resources and support.

      Strong brand and had a lot of pride in what we did.

      Cons

      Results no longer mattered. What mattered is if the higher ups liked you or not. Results were manipulated to look good on reports. It didn't matter if you got results the right way, if you weren't liked by the new crowd, there was a lot of pressure put on you. Very stressful.
