Pros

The training is great for self knowledge and for preparing taxes for others. Training is free for those who were csp's ( front desk) previously. I think otherwise, there is a charge for the training classes. Always had lots of customers. This may have changed since I worked there.

Cons

I didn't think that it was right for people who had a cpa to get paid more than others for the same return when having a cpa is not necessary in preparing taxes. This may have changed since I worked there.

Pros

While the role of Seasonal Tax Preparer at H&R Block offers flexibility to manage your time and opportunities to develop tax preparation skills, there are areas that could be improved.

Cons

The experience included some challenges with micromanagement, and in my case, the end-of-season pay did not meet the initial expectations set by the company.
