Pros

Remote work. I had a pretty nice working experience and avoided any horrible managers. No crazy hours. No micro managing or unneccesary pressure. Pretty low stress as these things go.

Cons

Severely underpaid. You will have to negotiate higher salary as they will never give it to you on their own volition. Working there for longer means seeing new hires net higher starting salaries then you who has much more experience. Have been moving in the direction of more and more outsourcing to India and they are definitely onboard the AI hype train. Very poor job security. No company loyalty towards its employees. They view their employees as a line item on a spreadsheet and nothing more.
