Seasonal scheduling can be tricky for peak times.

More of the continued education has been moving to virtual only classes for several years already... prior local live trainings were a great opportunity for team building amongst tax preparers.

Zero benefits no matter how long you work there as a tax pro. Decreased pay annually. They expect full time commitment for a part time position. We are the janitors & it goes against our pay/commission to do so. We have to pay for our own continuing education, which is a requirement and we can no longer deduct with the new tax laws. Our online training is awful. Our minimum wage “skills” classes are required and not actually helpful. The worst organized company. Way too many upper levels who have never even worked in the tax office. WE ARE NOT RETAIL. STOP SAYING WE ARE. I do not sell things. They cannot choose their return or it’s outcome. Way overworked and underpaid. They do not care about good & thorough training. They just want bodies. Huge turnover.
