Pros

Great job if you work another job somewhere else, and you love to work with people.

Cons

No room for advancement into upper management

Pros

Co-Workers are nice (but I'm sure that depends on the office) and there is a positive atmosphere. Employees seem to want to do what's right for the client. Work is interesting but not too difficult.

Cons

Not much training, you just have to figure it out as you go. If your manager is bad you might have a hard time. They assigned me to clean out old files, but then did not want to pay me to come in early and told me to stay at my desk (even though the filing cabinet was in the back). Not much contact with upper management. Only a temporary job for tax season.

Pros

Networking, good knowledge, fairness in bonus distribution, paycheck (the fact that I have one), development goals, unemployment, easy to get a job, MY department

Cons

Layoffs, upper management, communication, mobility, does not pay adequately, does not provide tools to complete job, does not take feedback, benefits (not competitive), no job title listed for my position below, lack of development, no company picnics and other activities to engage employees, uneven distribution, handles

Pros

The rate of pay was good, the environment was clean, benefits were fair but the upper management was severely disorganized and changed too often to be effective.

Cons

Entire focus is on profit margin and the stockholders. No one notices the compliments employees get from customers, vendors or franchisees for helping them sift through all the automation and find a real person who can either help them or direct them to someone who can. The only thing that gets noticed is the bottom line.

Pros

The people that worked for me were great, my fellow DMs were also pretty good people.

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about their people at all. New CEO every 2 years because it is a bad company to work for.
