Dogs Treated Better than Staff

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Concept is not viable -- Pet Care "reimagined" was intended to refer to a one-stop hub for pet's needs: vet care, grooming, day-care, boarding and retail offerings. Turns out boarding and day-care aren't needed with pet-parents largely at home. Retail (what little there is) can't possibly compete with Chewy and Amazon. Mostly, though, staff doesn't stay b/c the private equity backers keep no one happy -- and that has caused great difficulty for the vet care and grooming business lines to grow.

Mismanaged Mess

Pros

Free pet care for your pet (up to 1200/up to two pets). Really good Vets, they really care and are great!

Cons

They pretend to listen to their employees, but never actually take action. Retention is horrible, people keep leaving. We lost almost all the original founders of the company, the CFO and many others in less then a year. Employees are screaming for help and no one listens. The issue is from the top down- the careless culture trickles down to the point everyone just leaves- if you speak up you are deemed a complainer. No one feels appreciated and they have done some things that are rather shady. The headquarters team is not diverse at all!

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. It is great to hear you enjoyed building bonds with the veterinarians. Through your dedication and hard work, our facilities provide excellent care to our pets and pet parents. We respect and value every member of our team. It saddens us to hear you felt you did not receive the level of support from management we strive to provide. We ask that you share these concerns directly with Human Resources so they may be heard and addressed. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention so that we can make improvements.

Pros

2 prevention plans Now 401k match Good health insurance

Cons

-2 prevention plans (taxed like crazy and would be better to just give a flat discount. -Poor leadership- most will never admit when wrong -Micromanagement at its finest - Constant lay off (say it was mutual every time) -Worst operation implementation team. They never seem to think anything all the way through
